Easy Cheesy Biscuit

3 cups all-purpose flour 3 teaspoons baking powder 1 tablespoon sugar 1 teaspoon salt 3/4 teaspoon cream of tartar 1/2 cup cold butter 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese 1 garlic clove, minced 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes 1-1/4 cups 2% milk


Step - 1

Glaze the oven at 450°. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cream of tartar in a large basin.   

Cream the butter into the mixture until it begins to resemble coarse particles.   

Step - 2

Stir in the pepper flakes, garlic, and Parmesan. Add milk and stir until only moistened.  

Step - 3

Drop dough by generous 1/4 cupfuls 2 inches apart onto a baking sheet that has been greased.   

Step - 4

After 18 to 20 minutes, bake until golden brown. Keep toasty.
