PUMPKIN SNACK MIX RECIPE

4 cups popped popcorn (we used Kettle Corn) ▢1 1/2 cup cherrios (we used Honey Nut) ▢1 1/2 cup Rice CHEX ▢1/2 cup peanuts ▢1/3 cup brown sugar ▢1/4 cup light corn syrup ▢2 tbsp butter ▢1 tsp vanilla extract ▢1/4 tsp baking soda ▢1/2 cup candy corn ▢1/2 cup candy pumpkins

Ingredients

Step - 1

Prepare a substantial pan by lining it with parchment paper.  

In a bowl mixed popped popcorn, cereal and peanuts. Spread out evenly onto parchment-lined pan.

Step - 2

Combine brown sugar, syrup, and butter in a saucepan. Allow to simmer for an additional two minutes. After removing from heat, combine baking soda and vanilla. Stir until thoroughly combined.  

Step - 3

Bake for 15 minutes at 250 degrees. Remove and combine. Continue baking for 10 minutes.    

Step - 4

Mix in one-half cup candy pumpkins and one-half cup candy maize thoroughly.
